Gender Sensitization Cell
The Gender Sensitization Cell at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut is a dedicated body that works to promote gender equality, raise awareness about gender-related issues, and foster a respectful, inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. It organizes various activities such as awareness programs, guest lectures, panel discussions, and sensitization events to educate the university community about gender biases, stereotypes, gender-based violence, and LGBTQ+ issues. The cell collaborates with different departments and external experts to encourage open dialogue, challenge discriminatory attitudes, and support gender equity on campus. Through these efforts, the cell aims to create a safe, supportive atmosphere where everyone is treated with dignity and respect regardless of gender.
