The 63rd Republic Day celebration was organized in Subharti Law
College Lawn on 26.Jan. 2012.
Ø Chief Guest Dr. G.P.Elhence (Cardiologist & Professor of Medicine) inaugurated
the ceremony by Flag-hoisting.
Ø After National Anthem the founder of Subharti University Hon’ble Dr. Atul Krishna
gave the introduction of Chief Guest & briefed the historical importance of
the date -26.January in the Indian History. He also said that we may give regard
to the republic only after the establishment of Cast-Less community.
Ø Welcome speech was given by Dr. Vaibhav Goel (Principal Law College) and Master
of ceremony was Dr. Rahul Bansal.
Ø Chief Guest Dr. G.P.Elhence said that Cast & Religion less Subharti is playing
a major role in National Character Building and we are very proud of it.
Ø Many colorful and cultural presentations were presented by the students, faculty
members, workers & guests in front of a huge gathering.
Ø Pro Vice-chancellor Dr. Susmita Saxena presented the details of achievements gained
by different Colleges/ Faculties & students of the University in last year.
The students who achieved different goals were rewarded at that moment. Certificates
& Lapel pins were given away by Mrs. Elhence.
Ø Mementoes were given to the guests at the occasion by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor
Dr. (Lt. Gen.) B.S.Rathore.
Ø Vote of thanks was given by Hon’ble Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar.
Ø The celebration was concluded with National Song.
Ø After the celebration a Faculty quiz was organized at the Moot Court of Subharti
Law College. Coordinator of the quiz was Dr. Satyam Khare along with Dr. Abhishek
Bhardwaj, Dr. Rajesh Sharma, & Dr. Devpriya. The quiz had 4 rounds- Traditional
Round, Fastest Finger First, Visual & Rapid fire round. Five teams participated
in the quiz and team of Law Journalism & Fine Arts College was the winner and
team of Dental College was runner-up.
