Events Held in C.S.S.H in month of September 2011

Department of Ophthalmology

N.P.C.B (National Programme for Control of Blindness) – Twelve free eye camps were held at different block of Meerut and Baghpat district on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by eye Department of Subharti Hospital in month of September 2011. Total eight hundred and seventeen patients were examined and one hundred thirty two were operated for cataract.


Department of Blood Bank

CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI SUBHARTI BLOOD BANK – Two voluntary blood donation camps were held in month of September 2011 and total one hundred and eighty six units of blood were collected. Five hundred and seventy units of blood were collected from replacement donors and seven hundred ninty one units of blood and blood products were issued to patients.

Department of Respiratory Medicine

REVISED NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL PROGRAMME – Total 250 patients were examined out of which 45 patients were found positive. Out of 45 patients, 03 patients put on DOTS, 22 patients referred out of District, 12 patients referred with in District, 05 patients were admitted in hospital and three patients have taken treatment from outside in the month of September 2011.Total 250 patients were examined out of which 45 patients were found positive.
