Events Held in C.S.S.H. in month of January 2012
Department of Ophthalmology
N.P.C.B (National Programme for Control of Blindness)
– Fourteen free eye camps were held at different block of Meerut and Baghpat district
on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by eye Department of Subharti Hospital in
month of January 2012. Total five hundred and two patients were examined and ninty
two were operated for cataract.
Department of Blood Bank
CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI SUBHARTI BLOOD BANK
Three voluntary blood donation camp were held in the month of January 2012. Total
two hundred ninty two units of blood were collected. Six hundred and twenty units
of blood were collected from replacement/voluntary donors and one thousand and ninty
one units of blood and blood products were issued to patients.

*Monthly report of HIV-TB co-infection will be submitted of one month back from now
onwards as the cases which are referred from ICTC to RNTCP takes atleast one month
to get diagnosed for tuberculosis and their report can only be submitted after one
month.
Department of Respiratory Medicine
REVISED NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL PROGRAMME
Total 161 patients were examined out of which 26 patients were found positive. Out
of 26 patients, 03 patients put on DOTS, 12 patients referred out of District, 05
patients referred with in District, 04 patient was admitted in hospital and 01 patients
have taken treatment from outside in the month of January 2012. Total patient put
on DOTS in Subharti Medical College = 07.
